Virginia M. “Jenny” Fowler, 90, of Marshall, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022, at her son’s home in Raymore.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Dec. 24, 1931, in Grand Pass, Mo., on White’s Island, she was the daughter of the late David Harrison Roberts and Leona Lee Sammons Roberts. On April 9, 1959, she married Clarence L. Fowler, who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2000. She had lived in Marshall since 1957, moving from Sedalia, Mo., and was a Baptist.
Survivors include one daughter, Sue Knop (Wayne) of Louisburg, Kan.; three sons, Chuck Fowler of Marshall, Mike Fowler (Tina) of Raymore, and Ronn Fowler (Vicky) of Holden, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Jeff Elliott, Curt and Bryan Knop, Brenton and Nicholas Fowler, Lucas Fowler and Katherine Roberts; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Jenny was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister and brother in infancy; and one son, Allen E. “Rocky” Elliott.
