At approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, multiple emergency agencies responded to the corner of Benton Avenue and North Lake Drive after a vehicle smashed into a residential garage.

The Marshall Police Department blocked off a couple of roadways during the investigation. On site were the Saline County Ambulance, MPD, Saline County Sheriff’s Department, the Marshall Fire Department and Diehm’s Towing.

A neighbor told The Marshall Democrat-News they heard a car down the road and a “loud crunch” sound, and then shortly afterward, lights and sirens of emergency personnel reverberated through the neighborhood.

No information about the crash has yet been confirmed. It did not appear that anyone who lived in the house were injured. The Marshall Democrat-News will provide information when it becomes available.
