Kansas Senator Cindy Holscher (D-Overland Park, Kan.) has declared her candidacy to run for Kansas governor. Holscher is a native of Slater, Mo. The daughter of Archie and Wanita Blumhorst, Holscher represents the state’s 8th district and is currently the Senate Minority Whip. She served in the Kansas House of Representatives from 2017-2020 and was elected to the Senate in 2021.Image from Kansas State Legislature
