Sam Sullivan

June 11, 1932 – July 30, 2022

Sam Sullivan, 90, of Marshall, Mo., died Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Legendary Nursing and Rehab in Marshall.

At Sam’s request, no services will be held. Inurnment will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Pat Gaunt Nursing Scholarship c/o Bothwell Foundation, 601 E. 14th St., Sedalia, MO  65301 in memory of (Donna Lou Sullivan) in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Born June 11, 1932, in Miami, Mo., he was the son of the late Amos Hardy Sullivan and Beulah Exie Holland Sullivan. On Aug. 16, 1957, he married Donna Lou Clark, who preceded him in death on Sept. 18, 1990. He lived in Marshall most of his life where he was owner and operator of OK Tire Service. He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Survivors include four children, Sandy Garrison of Marshall, Ben Sullivan (Elizabeth) and Tim Sullivan both of Sedalia, Mo., and Debbie Everage (Walter) of Raymore, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, George Sullivan of Osage Beach, Mo.; one sister, Ellen Garrett of Marshall; numerous nieces and nephews; and longtime companion Joyce George of Marshall.

In addition to his parents and wife, Sam was preceded in death by three brothers, John Sullivan, Oden Sullivan and Glen Sullivan; and three sisters, Fannie Bell Sullivan, Irene Holloway and Dorothy Hays Garrison.
