Micki Ellefson, 61, of Marshall, Mo., died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at her home.
Memorial visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Marshall. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022, at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Mike Parris and the Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Born Nov. 20, 1960, in Galesburg, Ill., she was the daughter of Walter William Cadwell Sr., who survives, and the late Donna Cecilia Lipskey Cadwell. On Nov. 24, 1978, in Galesburg, Ill., she married Keith Perry Ellefson, who survives of the home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for 34 years. She loved being with family and friends and shared her love with over 26 foster kids over the years. She loved the Lord and served him well.
Survivors include her husband, Keith; her father, Walter; two daughters, Keri Foster (Matt) ofLaredo, Mo., and Kelly Wilson of Marshall; five grandchildren, Ally, Logan, Morgan and Jordan Foster and Declan Wilson; three sisters, Candy, Paula and Lorri; one brother, Walter Cadwell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her mother, Micki was preceded in death by one son, Keith “Bear” Ellefson on Nov. 18, 2001.
