Michael Glenn “Turk” Brandt, 68, of Marshall, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at Redwood of Raymore in Raymore, Mo.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Inurnment will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Ridge Park Cemetery Road Campaign or the National Wild Turkey Federation. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell- lewis.com. Born March 4, 1954, in Moberly, Mo., he was the son of the late Henry E. Brandt and Helen G. Newton Brandt. Turk lived most of his life in Marshall where he was a 1972 graduate of Marshall High School. His career was spent in the construction industry with many of those years being employed at Quinn Concrete in Marshall.
Survivors include four children, Eric Brandt (Laura) of Lee’s Summit, Chris Brandt (Racheall) of Marshall, Becky Fann (Jason) of Marshall and Mitchell Pittman (Taylor) of Columbia, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, Whitney, Katie, Noah, Connor, Christopher, Izabella, Ellie, Zeke, Aleah, Coby and Ty; four siblings, Debra Waters (Richard) of Baton Rouge, La., Robin McDaniel (Joe) of Lee’s Summit, Dan Brandt (Cindy) of Marshall and Julie Brandt (Jeff Stockhorst) of Fayette; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
