More than 50 student-athletes participated during each day of the Marshall High School football camp last week, according to Owls’ third-year head coach Ian Verts. Thompson was the starting quarterback last year and is going to be a junior. Last year, Thompson completed 99 passes for more than 1,100 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for two more scores.The Owls, who were 3-8 in 2023, open fall practice Monday, Aug. 12. Their first game is at Chillicothe Friday, Aug. 30.
