The 1969 graduating class from Malta Bend High School in Malta Bend, Missouri, held its 55th reunion at Bloomfield’s Family Restaurant, in Marshall, on Saturday, June 1. In attendance were 11 classmates, two spouses, and three teachers.The four-hour reunion passed quickly as old friends caught up with one another in the present and told stories from their shared past. “It was noticed that a couple of those stories grew a little since our last reunion,” attendees shared. “Are we getting old and forgetful? Surely not!”They remembered classmates and teachers who had passed away since the last reunion. The class decided to hold reunions in the upcoming even numbered years.The class shared its appreciation to “the very patient and efficient staff at Bloomfield’s. We enjoyed delicious food, and no one left hungry. We look forward to being together again in 2026.
