Loretta Jones, 75, of Tonawanda, N.Y., formerly of Missouri, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

A Celebration of Life will be held. Weiker Funeral Home in Slater is in charge of the arrangements.

Born Nov. 8, 1946, in Gilliam, she was the daughter of the late J.C. and Ida Belle Smith Butner. 

She is survived by a son, Carlos Jones of Tonawanda, N.Y.; three brothers, Charles Butner of Kansas City, Mo., Ces Butner of Oakland, Calif., and Jay Butner of Onalaska, Wisc.; seven sisters, Jamesetta Butner of Slater, Mo., Bonita Butner of Slater, Jolitta Butner of Kansas City, Mo., Nina Butner of Kansas City, Mo., Veda Butner of Kansas City, Mo., Rowena Butner of Kansas City, Kan., and Daniella Dwyer of Boynton Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Neosha Jones; and a brother, Keith Butner.

Ms. Jones was retired from the State of Missouri where she had worked for the employment security.
