Four Marshall Lady Owls’ tennis players earned their way into the individual sectional tournament by finishing first and second in doubles at the district tournament Thursday. Sophomore Avery Evans (left) and junior Holly Huston teamed up to win the event. They defeated Lady Owl juniors Bailey Kueker and Alizah Russell 6-2, 6-4 in the title match. Both doubles teams advance to the sectional tournament next weekend. Freshman Kennedy King and sophomore Dianna Escarate played singles at district but did not qualify for sectional.
