Kenneth Russell Osborn, 82, of rural Marshall, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at Centerpoint Hospital in Independence, Mo.

Born May 3, 1940, in Kenton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Laurence Osborn and Edna Olliver Osborn. He was a 1958 graduate of Kenton High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran serving from 1959 to 1963. He was a 1969 graduate of Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Mo., where he earned a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree. He earned a Master of Arts degree from Webster University in Webster Groves, Mo. On March 24, 1972, he married Elaine Emery Landolt, who survives. He was an accountant/auditor for the U.S. government and was an adjunct instructor with Park University in Kansas City, Mo., for 25 years. He was a member of Arrow Rock Federated Church, a member of Arrow Rock Masonic Lodge No. 55 A.F. and A.M., being a Mason since 1961, and a Scottish Rite mason since 1967.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine; one daughter, Andrea Osborn of Omaha, Neb.; one son, Stephen L. Osborn of Council Bluffs, Iowa; two granddaughters, Shelby Lynn Yaun and Alexandria Nicole Osborn; one stepson, Jeremiah Daniel Landolt of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Juanita Wright of Loudon Tenn.; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by one daughter, Sonja Sue Osborn; one stepson, James T. Landolt; and one brother, Ronald Reo Osborn.
