JoAnn Barr, 75, of Springfield, Mo., died on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at her home.

JoAnn was born May 12, 1947, to Walter R. Barr and Evelyn (Cromley) Barr in Shackleford, Mo. She was a graduate of Mercy Academy in Marshall and St. John’s School of Nursing in Springfield. She spent her entire professional career as a nurse in various positions. She lived most of her adult life in the Springfield area. She had a love for all animals and was always welcoming to abandoned dogs and cats.

Survivors include her two sons, Jeff Cramer of Willard and Blake Cramer of Springfield; her sister, Eleanor (Percy) Willis; and two nephews, Gregg Willis and Tony Willis.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene Barr and Wayne Barr; one nephew, Kevin Barr; and one niece, Sonya Barr.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to charities of your choice.
