Jeffery Lynn Smith, son of Howard Pershing Smith and Louise Bushnell (Smith) Malan, concluded his human life experience on June 17, 2022, after 66 years.

Jeff resided in Marshall his entire life and married his high school sweetheart, Dyna Marie Smith, on April 24, 1976. Jeff was a hands-on businessman who specialized in cattle, real estate development and farmland. He had a great love for the Marshall community and worked hard to leave it a better place.

The most important thing in life to Jeff was his family. He and Marie raised three children, Aaron (Shellee), Lucas and Tiffany (Randon). His grandchildren, Taylor, Ryder, Cooper and Hunter, were the joy of his life in later years. His loved ones will always remember he “loved them more than the world is big.”
