Geraldine L. Ferguson, 85, of Marshall, Mo., died Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery north of Marshall. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Born July 5, 1936, in Boonville, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Lee Snider and Louise Stegner Snider. Geraldine was raised in the Cooper County area and was a graduate of Boonville High School. On May 4, 1958, she married Granville Eugene Ferguson, who preceded her in death on May 7, 2015. In her younger years she worked as a switchboard operator, but her life was dedicated to her family.

Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Valiquette of Marshall; one son, Alan Ferguson (Lori) of Boonville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Karl E. Snider.
