Gaylen Elaine Workcuff, 57, of Marshall, Mo., died Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at her home.

The family will hold a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, at Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church in Marshall, with Eldress Charlotte Nixon officiating. Born Aug. 19, 1965, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Wright and Mary Louise Butler Wright. Gaylen lived in Marshall most of her life and worked as a caregiver. She was a member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Curtis Workcuff Jr.; three daughters: Kiesha, Vanity and Skyy Workcuff; 13 grandchildren; as well as other extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Gaylen was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Wright.
