September 2, 1947 – October 17, 2022

Edward Mode Anson Jr., age 75, passed away on Oct. 17, 2022, at his home in San Tan Valley, Ariz. Ed was born on Sept. 2, 1947, in Ft. Madison, Iowa, the son of Edward Mode and Eleanor Jean (Hetzer) Anson.

Ed graduated from Marshall High School in 1965, served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict, and graduated from the University of Missouri in 1973.

Survivors include his son, Todd Anson (Kristen E.); daughter, Kristen L. Anson; grandchildren,

Kambria Anson, Katelyn Anson, and Ash Tynor; siblings, John Anson (Carol Harper), Becky Anson Reilly (Mike), and Pam Anson Norton (Paul); aunts, Mona Humphrey, Elaine Smith and Judy Anson Frerking; and nephews, nieces, and cousins. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and other family members.
