January 5, 1951 — November 23, 2022 Charles Field “Chuck” Reiff, 71, of Marshall, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at his home.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with the Rev.
Rodney Haggett officiating. Burial followed in Ridge Park Cemetery.
Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family requested masks be worn while at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Midwest Transplant Network, and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born Jan. 5, 1951, in Hastings, Neb., he was the son of the late Andrew S. Reiff and Betty Louise Brownfield Reiff. Chuck graduated from Liberty High School in Liberty, Mo., in 1969 and then earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1973. Chuck lived in Saline County most of his life where he owned rental houses, worked at various businesses through the years, and was currently a bus driver for Marshall Public Schools. When his son was a member of the Boy Scouts, Chuck served as an assistant scout master and treasurer. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he had been involved in United Methodist Men, and he was currently attending Calvary Baptist Church.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Patty Finney Reiff, of the home; one daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Otto (Ryan) of Marshall; one son, Andy Reiff (Kelly) of Columbia; four grandchildren, Henry Field Otto, Jack Anthony Otto, Adalin Rae Reiff and Charles “Charlie” Andrew Reiff; and one brother, Dr. Richard L. Reiff of Lee’s Summit.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his grandparents; and a special great-aunt, Elizabeth J. Field.
