The Missouri Valley College men’s basketball team hosted Graceland in a Heart of America Athletic Conference game at the Burns Athletic Complex in Marshall last Saturday.

A Missouri Valley College women’s basketball student-athlete has earned a weekly award from the Heart of America Athletic Conference for her record-breaking play in two games last week.

In early December 2023, Gia Moore became the fifth Missouri Valley College women’s basketball player to reach the 1,000-point milestone in her career.

The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s basketball teams welcomed in Park (Mo.) for a Heart of America Athletic Conference doubleheader Wednesday evening inside the Burns Athletic Complex. The women’s team led throughout in an 80-55 victory, while the men’s team earned a 76-61 win to complete the doubleheader sweep.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) shows deer hunters in Missouri harvested 10,071 deer during the alternative methods portion of firearms deer season, Dec. 28 – Jan. 7. Of the 10,071 deer harvested, 2,765 were antlered bucks, 1,072 were button bucks, and 6,234 were does.
