The Missouri Valley College men’s and women’s wrestling teams traveled to Fayette, Mo., for a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual doubleheader, Wednesday evening. The No. 18 men’s team earned a 22-14 win against No. 16 Central Methodist, taking six of the 10 contested weight classes. The No. 10 women’s team won seven of the 10 weight classes, including four victories by pin to defeat the No. 18 Eagles, 33-14.

Visiting Boonville scored the game’s first six points and 17 of the first 18 and cruised to a 75-29 victory over the Marshall Lady Owls on Kevin Hart Court at MHS Feb. 3.

Every time the visiting Oak Grove Panthers made a run, the host Marshall Owls had the appropriate answers.

For the second time in four nights, the Santa Fe Lady Chiefs had trouble scoring the basketball and lost at Lone Jack 46-23 Feb. 4.
