A GoFundMe online fundraising campaign has been established for the family of Art Hains as the legendary Missouri State University athletics broadcaster remains hospitalized with West Nile Virus. Hains, a radio broadcaster for MSU sports for the better part of the last 45 years, has been in the hospital since mid-September with serious symptoms that include losing mobility in his limbs and struggling to breathe after contracting the mosquitoborne disease.
