By winning games at two different sites Thursday, the nationally-ranked Missouri Valley College soccer teams advanced to the championship games of their respective pods and one win away from their national tournament final sites.
In week five of the regular season, the Saint Paul Saints pulled away in the fourth quarter and defeated the Sweet Springs football team 50-28 on Larry Laubenstein Field in Concordia. The two teams will meet again Friday with much more riding on the outcome.
