Lone Jack jumped to a nine-point lead after one quarter and was never really threatened in registering a 62-41 I-70 Conference victory at Alma Tuesday. The Mules, who had two three-point baskets and eight points in the first quarter from senior Christian Ledsworth to get out to a 16-7 advantage, improved their lead to 11 points by halftime at 28-17.

It was a rough night for the Marshall basketball teams, as they lost at Moberly in North Central Missouri Conference action Thursday night. The Lady Owls dropped the opener 65-36, while the Owls fell 75-45 in the nightcap.

The Marshall Owl boys wrestling team finished its North Central Missouri Conference season with a 57-24 loss at Fulton Tuesday. The Owls won three and lost eight of the matches held.
