JEFFERSON CITY — The track and field team walked away from the MSHSAA Class 4 Championships at Jefferson City empty-handed Saturday. The Owls had only one student-athlete entered, but she was eliminated from both events during the preliminaries Friday.

Sophomore Aiden Coffman shot an 87 on the par-72 Drumm Farms course to tie for 12th place in the 66-entry field Junior Logan Alspach and sophomore Garrett Boedeker shared 16th place with 90s to earn their berths at state.
