After serving as assistant coach for several years, Amanda Van Winkle takes over as head coach of the Marshall Owls cross country teams succeeding Jim Papreck. She is being assisted by former Owl standout athlete Zach Glassmaker.

The Marshall Lady Owls’ volleyball team had a tough 2021 season, finishing 3-26 overall and winless in the North Central Missouri Conference (NCMC). But there are some talented players returning for second-year head coach Stephanie Heinzler. Gone from last year’s squad are Damaris Cantor, Izabella Brandt and Cynthia Martinez due to graduation. Also not returning are Ella Verts, Linzi Boedeker and Hailie Barber. Verts and Boedeker were middle hitters and Barber an outside hitter.
