Santa Fe took advantage of six Crest Ridge errors and beat the Cougars 9-4 on Dalton Wilkinson Field at Alma Monday. That win came just four days after the Chiefs hammered Smithton 15-0.
Paul Alberson’s Marshall Owls’ baseball team suffered another tough loss at Pleasant Hill Thursday. The Owls led the nonconference match-up 2-0 after scoring a run in the top of the sixth inning.
Even though the Sweet Springs Lady Greyhounds equaled La Monte with Sacred Heart’s 10 hits, the Lady Vikings scored multiple runs in three of the first five innings and won 10-5 Wednesday at Sweet Springs.
After falling behind nearly three-fourth of the way through the first half, the Marshall Lady Owls’ soccer team rebounded to net the final three goals in a 3-1 victory at Clinton Thursday. This was the Lady Owls’ third straight win.
Playing in front of the home fans for the first time this season, the Marshall Lady Owls soccer team was dominant. The Lady Owls were so dominant, they ended their North Central Missouri Conference matchup against Fulton still with 22 minutes, 16 seconds left in the second half.
