MHS over host Tigers Chase Thompson had ice water in his veins. With the game versus host Macon tied 66-66 with under a minute to play, the junior nailed all four of his free-throw tries and senior Jaxson Case — who had tied the game with a driving layup with 1:45 to go — added one for two from the stripe with under 5 seconds left, and the Marshall Owls edged host Macon 71-69 in the Macon Shootout last Thursday night.
