Valley to take on Grand View in Battle for Odin’s Helmet
When Paul Troth’s Missouri Valley College football team tasted defeat for the first time in the 2022 season, 31-30 at Clarke, it rebounded the next week to win 28-21 in overtime at home over Graceland. Then the Vikings recorded a comefrom- behind 28-16 win at Culver-Stockton.
Utilizing punishing ground attack, Statesmen beat Valley
In a week-four 28-16 come-from-behind victory at Culver-Stockton, the Missouri Valley College defense was sterling, and the offense made just enough plays in the second half. But neither happened just seven days later, as the Vikings lost to previously winless William Penn 21-10 at Volney C.Ashford Stadium on Gregg-Mitchell Field Saturday.
