Vikings’ troubles in Red Zone lead to loss at Evangel
Struggling to score touchdowns continues to haunt the Missouri Valley College football team. The Vikings managed only three field goals on four trips to the Red Zone in the first half of their Heart of America Athletic Conference South Division opener versus Evangel at Nixa and ultimately lost 21-16 Saturday.
After week off, Valley heads south to take on Evangel
The Missouri Valley College football team has come up dry in each of the last three years in Heart of America Athletic Conference South Division play. The Vikings- coming off a 55-7 loss at North Division kingpin Grand View on Oct.

When Paul Troth’s Missouri Valley College football team tasted defeat for the first time in the 2022 season, 31-30 at Clarke, it rebounded the next week to win 28-21 in overtime at home over Graceland. Then the Vikings recorded a comefrom- behind 28-16 win at Culver-Stockton.
