It seems to me that there are times in our lives when the gates of heaven seem so far away that we seldom think about them. Days when all is going well; days when life seems to be moving along as we had planned - or at least in an acceptable manner; days when we feel that all is well with the world and that we might just live forever.

Bob Ford’s History
Lt. Colonel James Doolittle circled the USS Hornet in his B-25 waiting for the other Mid-Sized bombers to take off from the flight deck. Using precious fuel, it took 60 minutes for the rest to join him.
