Charles C. “Cliff” Lear, 95, of Sedalia, passed away June 23, 2022, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia, Mo. He was born on June 27, 1926, in Pattonsburg, Mo., the son of Charles B. Lear and Agnus Ruth Savage.

Ruth E. Napier, 68, of Marshall, Mo., died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Mo.

Jeffery Lynn Smith, son of Howard Pershing Smith and Louise Bushnell (Smith) Malan, concluded his human life experience on June 17, 2022, after 66 years. Jeff resided in Marshall his entire life and married his high school sweetheart, Dyna Marie Smith, on April 24, 1976.

Norma Jean (Daniel) Parsons, of Sweet Springs, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia. Born April 8, 1931, to Edgar Daniel and Katharine (Kennedy) Daniel of Sweet Springs, Jean attended Elder Ridge School and graduated from Sweet Springs High School before attending Warrensburg Teachers College.
