James Floyd Watts, 87, a resident of Harrison, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. He was born April 30, 1936, at Harriet, to James Oscar and Cordia Henry Watts. He married Miss Drucilla Louise Young on October 17, 1956, and the couple raised their family in Harrison. James was a former owner of a gas station and a cattle farm, but his passion was building homes. He was a building contractor for many years and loved building quality homes for people. He was a member of the Capps Road Church of Christ, where he had served as an elder and a deacon. He enjoyed mowing his two-acre lawn and working in landscaping, making his yard beautiful. He was an avid high school basketball player and a huge Razorback basketball fan. If they weren’t on tv, he had his headphones on listening to the radio. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Anthony Scott Watts; and nine brothers and sisters, Fred Watts, Daley Ragland, Blaine Watts, Garland Watts, Ruth Watts Baker, Wesley Watts, Dwight Watts, Eula Brooks, and B. G. Watts. He is survived by his wife of almost 67 years, Louise Watts of Harrison; a son, Christopher James Watts of Fayetteville; a daughter and son-in-law, Gina Louise and James Anthony Lee of Springdale; four grandchildren, Tyler Lee and his wife, Cherrell, of Charlotte, North Carolina, Madison Hope Lee of Rogers, Coby Harrison Watts of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Justin Watts and his wife Katherine of Siloam Springs; five great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces; and other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Holt Memorial Chapel with Mr. Norman Sewell and Mr. Tanner Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel. Pallbearers will be Christopher Watts, Coby Watts, Eric Christian, Tyler Lee, Anthony Lee, and Ashley Young. The visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday at the
