SALINE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation has opened the Lemon Trail bridge (County Road 211) over Interstate 70 near mile marker 81.6. The bridge had been scheduled for replacement and was removed in January 2025. The new Lemon Trail bridge was opened to traffic in August 2025. The Nitrogen Ave. (County Road 225) bridge over I-70 to the east is also included in this project. That bridge is scheduled for replacement by the end of 2026. All work is weather permitting.

At the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works meeting Tuesday, July 29, department heads shared updates on several key projects, including an ongoing well maintenance project and broadband installations. The board also approved a change in cost for stack testing on power generation units.
