The Marshall Police Department responded to the following calls Feb. 7-10, 2024: – Non-injury accident – Animal Attack – dog on dog – Repossessed vehicle – Warrant Arrest – James Goode was arrested for municipal warrants – later released on his own recognizance – Sudden death – no foul play – Non-injury accident – Arrest – David Johnson was arrested for disobeying a lawful order and resisting arrest. He is in the Saline County Justice Facility with a $2,500 cash-only bond. – Ex-Parte Violation – Juvenile Report – Truancy – Juvenile Report – Truancy – Harassment – An individual has sent numerous text messages to another party threatening to do bodily harm – Arrest – Michael Gilliland was arrested for driving while revoked.
The Marshall Police Department responded to the following calls Feb. 2-7, 2024: – Fraud – A local bank contacted police to inform them a man was trying to cash a fraudulent check.

The Marshall Police Department responded to the following calls from Jan. 20-23, 2024: – Non-Injury accident – Juvenile Report – Child neglect – Stolen vehicle - On Sunday, Jan. 21, at 9:12 p.m., a citizen contacted Saline County E911 to report a blue 2018 Dodge Journey was stolen from 990 S. Odell Ave. (Mazzio’s). Officers responded to investigate. Officers learned that an individual saw Mr. Jesse Black driving the Journey at approximately 7:50 p.m. At 3:13 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, a Saline County deputy responded to a vehicle on fire in Saline County. The Deputy located and arrested Jesse Black. Mr. Black admitted to stealing the Journey. The vehicle and all the contents were destroyed.
