A Marshall police officer responded to an apartment at South Valley Parkway on Thursday morning, Oct. 27, as he was advised there was a physical disturbance.

A Columbia man is facing a felony charge in Saline County after a traffic stop that occurred in Marshall on Friday, Nov. 4.

A traffic crash early Tuesday, Nov. 1, occurred on Interstate 70 in Saline County as a result of a deer being in the roadway.

The Marshall Police Department responded to the following calls for Oct. 2-6: Sunday, Oct. 2 --At 5:54 p.m., an officer responded to a residence on West Jackson Street in an attempt to locate a female with an active arrest warrant. She was reportedly a fugitive from justice from Saline County for domestic assault in the second degree and domestic assault in the fourth degree with a $7,500 cash or surety bond. The subject opened the door and repeatedly said she had done nothing wrong. She then went inside and locked the door. She reopened the door, attempted to close it again, but was later placed into handcuffs. She was later transported to the Saline County Sheriff’s Department.

A Blue Springs man was injured when his vehicle crashed on a rural Saline County highway Tuesday, Oct. 4.
