Bricks added to Veterans Memory Walk of Honor

Thirty veterans bricks were added to the Veterans Memory Walk of Honor on Saturday, May 28, at the Saline County Courthouse. Bricks were placed on the north side of the courthouse. The next time veterans bricks will be installed will be before Veterans Day. Brick applications are available at the courthouse in the Recorder, Collector and Treasurer offices, from Ed Reis at Wood & Huston Bank, Dale Zank Insurance office or by contacting Charlie Guthrie at 660-631-9355. Missouri DECA honors students at Excellence in Marketing Education Ceremony

On Tuesday, May 17, Saline County Career Center DECA students Holly Huston and Bailey Kueker were among several Missouri DECA students honored for their achievements at ICDC in Atlanta, Ga., in April. Honorees, advisors, and parents were invited to the Gover nor’s Mansion and received a special plaque for their accomplishments. Huston and Kueker were recognized as top presenters in their Integrated Marketing Campaign-Event. They were the first sophomores from SCCC DECA to attend ICDC.

Dr. Kurt Schroer, seeing patients during highs and lows is a motivating factor in his care

Kurt Schroer, DO/MBA, Family Practice Physician at Marshall Family Practice began seeing patients a few weeks ago. Marshall Family Practice is designated as a Patient Centered Medical Home and is located inside the Fitzgibbon Medical Clinic next to Fitzgibbon Hospital. Dr. Schroer returned to the area to be close to his mother who is battling lung cancer.

The documentary “2000 Mules,” produced by Dinesh D’Souza, has already been watched by over 1 million people, making the documentary the most successful political documentary in a decade. In the eye-opening documentary, D’souza, along with True the Vote, exposes the massive ballot trafficking operation by providing proof of 10 million pings of cell phone geotracking data and millions of minutes of drop box security camera footage from key states across America.
