On Tuesday, May 17, Saline County Career Center DECA students Holly Huston and Bailey Kueker were among several Missouri DECA students honored for their achievements at ICDC in Atlanta, Ga., in April. Honorees, advisors, and parents were invited to the Gover nor’s Mansion and received a special plaque for their accomplishments. Huston and Kueker were recognized as top presenters in their Integrated Marketing Campaign-Event. They were the first sophomores from SCCC DECA to attend ICDC.

“I did see south of the junction signage is up for our new turn lanes beginning construction on it,” Saline County Southern Commissioner Monte Fenner stated on Thursday, May 26. He explained when the commission had last spoken to the construction company — they estimated they would begin the project during the third or fourth week in May.
