The Marshall Park Board held its meeting on Wednesday, May 4, where they met with representatives from SWT Design. At the meeting held in February, Marshall Parks Director Chad Unterreiner reported on the contract the board approved for a Master Plan with SWT.
In reviewing the Marshall Parks and Recreation's finance report on Wednesday evening, May 4, Marshall Parks Director Chad Unterreiner stated the sales tax revenue is still trending up. The report showed for this year's March sales tax the estimate was $81,453.61. In March 2021, Unterreiner noted it was $61,181.01.

The funds were raised through several events throughout the year, including the annual Holiday Bazaar, sales in the Auxiliary Gift Shop, rummage sale, and special event sales in the hospital atrium including uniform sales, bake sales, The Nutman sales and annual Books Are Fun sales.
The severe storm that blew through Saline County Friday night and early Saturday morning ripped the roof off of the Marshall Municipal Airport terminal. At approximately 1:20 a.m.
