The city of Marshall will hold a work session and public meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct.
Kids 1st Night – hosted by Marshall Public Schools’ Parents As Teachers program – is designed to be both informative and fun for parents and children. Classes will be available for parents with a free dinner to follow and childcare will be provided for children who are potty trained and up to the age of 10.
October is traditionally the time of year for the Saline County Historical Society fall meeting. This will be held at the Indian Foothills Park North Point Shelter on Saturday, Oct. 15. The SCHS will provide the hot dogs and buns, tableware, condiments, and a drink for all paid or paying new members that have RSVP’d.
