The Sweet Springs School Board of Education opened it’s Thursday, Aug. 28, meeting with a tax hearing.

The Sweet Springs School Board met in closed session Thursday, Aug. 28, where members approved a resignation, a new hire and the district’s substitute list for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works met Wednesday, Aug. 27, and discussed a range of topics including a recent property damage incident, equipment upgrades, and the 2025/2026 budget.
