Dogs just want to have fun! But if your favorite pooch is out of control or needs an energy overload outlet, Marshall Dog Sports may have the answer. The key to a happy dog is for them to come under the control of their “hooman”.
The Marshall Senior Center reopened for a variety of activities and care management beginning Monday, July 18, according to Center Coordinator Jamie Oltmer. “We are ready to welcome folks into the center for cards, board games, socializing and other activities,” Oltmer said.

(Jefferson City, MO)— Twenty-eight high school seniors from across Missouri completed the eighth annual Helping Youth Prepare for Excellence (HYPE) FFA Academy June 28-30 in Jefferson City, Mo. The three-day academy is designed to inform and empower agriculture students to effectively engage in issues impacting Missouri farmers. It was sponsored by the MissouriCorn Merchandising Council.

The 100th annual awards banquet for the Marshall Chamber of Commerce took place this month on June 16. The Business of the Year Award went to Fitzgibbon Hospital and Missouri Valley College Ph.D. President Bonnie Humphrey received the Citizen of the Year Award.
