State Fair Community College has named the following students to the President’s, Dean’s and Trustees’ lists for the spring 2025 semester. To qualify for the President’s list, students must earn a semester grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 in 12 or more SFCC GPA credit hours. For the Dean’s list, students must earn a semester SFCC GPA of 3.5-3.99 in 12 or more SFCC GPA credit hours. The Trustees’ list requires students to earn a semester GPA of 3.6-4.0 in six or more SFCC GPA credit hours.
JEFFERSON CITY — In February of this year, the Missouri Department of Conservation was notified by its cybersecurity team of unauthorized access into one of its servers. MDC quickly activated its Incident Response Team to analyze MDC systems to remediate any issues and to gain further clarity on the scope of suspicious activity, including notifying staff and the public. A review of reasonably available information did not indicate any material subject to the unauthorized access was protected health information (PHI) covered by HIPAA’s Privacy Rule.

Members of the Kiwanis Club gathered at Indian Foothills Park for their annual fish fry on Tuesday, June 3. They enjoyed an afternoon cooking out, and the group also dedicated four trees planted in memory of former Kiwanis members who have passed away: Norvelle “Brownie” Brown, Roy Hinton, Charles Ferguson, and Wayne Rucker. The trees are planted near the North Point Shelter House.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol would like to remind the public that driver examination stations throughout the state will be closed on Thursday, June 19, for the observance of Juneteenth.
JEFFERSON CITY – Unfounded rumors are circulating regarding New World Screwworm in Missouri. To date, the Missouri Department of Agriculture and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has received no notification of New World Screwworm detection in Missouri. Missouri Department of Agriculture works closely with USDA on animal health issues.
