On March 25, 2023, SCCC DECA & HOSA worked to raise $500, which was donated to Children’s Mercy Hospital as their community service activ‐ity for the month. With the help of the community, both organizations were able to help provide funds to be given to parents who need help with the expense of traveling back and forth from the hospital.
The Saline County Ca‐reer Center Future Busi‐ness Leaders of America Chapter has been awarded $350 from Tyson Foods Inc. in Con‐cordia, Mo. The funds are designated to the SCCC FBLA Star Sponsorship program which supports state qualifying FBLA members to attend the State Leadership Confer‐ence.
