Kristi Ott, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, began seeing patients inside Marshall Surgical Associates this past month as part of a new GI Clinic, offered at Fitzgibbon Hospital. Ott will treat a myriad of gastrointestinal issues for patients in conjunction with specialist Yan Chen, M.D., who performs colonoscopies and other GI related procedures and diagnostic scopes.

ADELPHI, MD (06/24/2025)-- Sandra Alvarez, of Marshall, was named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 term at University of Maryland Global Campus. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.
