Student writers receive Marshall Writers’ Guild awards
On Friday, March 1, the Marshall Writers' Guild awarded Slater Middle School students Kenzie Thies, seventh grade, and Malachi Wright-Fowler, eighth grade, the Guilds' Outstanding Writer Awards. The Guild salutes the teachers and students who participate in this competition, a competition that's primary goal is to encourage writing. At this time, four Saline County Schools participate in this competition. Littrell serves as MHA Central District Council President

Missouri S&T announces honor list
ROLLA — Missouri University of Science and Technology announces the names of students who made the honor list for the Fall 2022 semes‐ter. To be included on the honor list, students must have carried a minimum of 12 hours and had grade point averages of 3.2 or above out of a pos‐sible 4.0.
