SPRINGFIELD (May 25, 2023) — Earning a spot on Drury University’s Dean’s List is a significant accomplishment. The recognition means a student earned a grade point average of 3.6 or greater (on a 4-point scale) while carrying a full-time course load of 12 or more semester hours at Drury, a top Midwestern university, according to US News & World Report.
The Saline County Career Center recognized six students recently by awarding them the Career and Technical Education certificate. In 2016, the Missouri General Assembly passed legislation requiring the State Board of Education and the CTE Advisory Council to establish the requirements for the CTE certificate. The certificate is earned in addition to the student’s graduating high school diploma. This is the third year that graduating students were eligible to earn the CTE certificate.
