November 20, 1945 — February 3, 2023 Carolyn Auer, 77, of Marshall, Mo., died Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, at The Living Center in Marshall.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, north of Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Born Nov. 20, 1945, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Archie M. Williams and Jewell Mae Breshears Waters, and her husband, Earl Waters, who Carolyn considered her dad. On Nov. 4, 1966, she married Danny Ray Auer, who survives of the home. Carolyn lived in Marshall most of her life and attended Southside Assembly of God Church. Carolyn had a strong faith and love for Jesus, and we know that she is now with Him.

In addition to her husband, Danny Ray Auer; she is survived by one son, Danny Lee Auer of Marshall; a granddaughter, Tiffany Auer of Florida; a sister-inlaw, Theresa Williams of Gilliam; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her “dad,” Earl Waters; a sister, Beverly Henderson; a brother, David Michael “Mike” Williams; and a nephew, David Scott Williams.
