MISSOURI VALLEY COLLEGE -- Missouri Valley College broadcast students are bringing home a total of 11 awards from competition in the 2024 Missouri Broadcast Educators Association student competition.
The No. 3 Missouri Valley College men’s volleyball team traveled to Salina, Kan., for a Heart of America Athletic Conference match with Kansas Wesleyan (Kan.), Friday evening. The Vikings took control early, and earned a victory by scores of 26-24, 25-21, 24-26, 25-13.

For the morning coffee drinkers out there, a recent study found there may be one more reason to enjoy that first cup of the day. In a study of over 40,000 people in a national health survey, researchers found that morning coffee drinkers had a lower risk of dying prematurely than non-coffee drinkers. And the biggest beneficiaries might be those who drank coffee only in the morning rather than throughout the day.
