The No. 3 Missouri Valley College men’s volleyball team hosted Ottawa (Kan.) in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match to close the regular season April 8. The Vikings went to four games, and earned a win by scores of 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22 to secure the program’s first Heart title and earn an automatic berth into the NAIA Men’s Volleyball National Championship.

Competition was tough at the Grain Valley Invitational for the Marshall Owl golfers Monday.
Slater’s track and field teams competed at the Fayette Relays April 3, with the Slater boys scoring 22 points and the Lady ‘Cats scoring three points.
