Governor proclaims May 4-10 ‘Drinking Water Week’

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 7, 2025 – Governor Mike Kehoe has proclaimed May 4 through May 10 as Drinking Water Week in Missouri. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources expresses its appreciation for the water professionals who work to provide safe drinking water to residents and visitors of Missouri.

Governor Kehoe announces FEMA to participate in Joint Damage Assessments for April 28-29 storms in Southern Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Today, Governor Mike Kehoe announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will participate in joint Preliminary Damage Assessments (PDAs) of public infrastructure in six counties following the severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes that heavily damaged areas of southwest and southeast Missouri from April 28 to 29.
