Sweet Springs BOE certifies election results
On Monday, April 15, the Slater Board of Education held a meeting to officially certify the election results, which had previously been certified by the County Clerk.

The Marshall Kiwanis Club held its regular meeting at noon Tuesday, April 16, at Montague’s.Randal DeMasters offered the invocation, and Club President Elect Jeff Bergstrom led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the meeting to order with 19 members and one guest in attendance.Jack Lenz introduced his son, who was visiting from out of state.Due to the fact that there was no regular program, various members shared stories and jokes from the past.
