The Marshall Kiwanis Club held their regular meeting at noon Tuesday, April 30, at Montague’s.Jack Lenz offered the invocation, and Club President Pam LaFrenz led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the meeting to order with 22 members in attendance.Chad Unterreiner, Marshall Parks and Recreation director, was introduced.

Marshall man accused of felony domestic assault

Law enforcement officers have apprehended a Marshall man on charges of felony domestic assault.According to a probable cause statement, on Saturday, April 27, a subject contacted Central Dispatch, via telephone, stating a female victim had been assaulted by her boyfriend, Maceo Tyriq Carter, 31, of Marshall.

A two-vehicle crash in Cooper County resulted in injuries for both drivers Wednesday evening, May 1.According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on state Highway 41, east of Chestnut Road shortly after 5 p.m.
